Join our Community in its new Home - The Datorama Trailblazer Community Group!
It's been an amazing 3 years coming together in this forum to collaborate, innovate, support, and inspire each other about our shared usage of Datorama. While this is not quite a goodbye, we are excited to announce that we are getting a fresh start in our new home within the Salesforce Trailblazer Community. We have a ton of fun new content planned and you may even see the revival of some of our most popular posts from the past few years.
We’ll be keeping this group around for a bit for you to peruse, but as of November 15, we will no longer be allowing new posts or comments. Be sure to join our new group at https://www.salesforce.com/success-datorama to keep the conversation going.
We can’t wait to see you there!

Facebook Conversion Data / 10x higher in Datorama than in Ads Manager - why could this be happening?

in Help Center
HI all,
We recently relaunched our website and it seems to have disrupted something in the Facebook API - From the date of new site launch, we're getting about 10x revenue value coming into Datorama but this is not being replicated in Facebook ads.
Ive tried reconnecting the data stream and reconfiguring it but it still brings back the same exasperated figures.
Has anyone else had this issue/found a way to fix it? Facebook wont give me the time of day as this looks fine on their end so it must be something within the API that is going wrong

Im filtering by purchase event at the moment but its a bit of a pain as each ad account has a different purchase event ID so all the aggregated reports need to be reconfigured.
You should work with Conversion Tag Key / Names and e.g. create a filtered measurement with the proper Conversion Tag Key / Name.
But if there is a better solution I would welcome any feedback :-)
Other than putting the filter on at visualisation or setting up a seperate data stream with this as a condition ive not found a more elegant way of doing it. Its a bit of a pain given we are running 16 ad accounts worldwide, which effectively means 32 data streams to be set up in this way!
