It's been an amazing 3 years coming together in this forum to collaborate, innovate, support, and inspire each other about our shared usage of Datorama. While this is not quite a goodbye, we are excited to announce that we are getting a fresh start in our new home within the Salesforce Trailblazer Community. We have a ton of fun new content planned and you may even see the revival of some of our most popular posts from the past few years.
We’ll be keeping this group around for a bit for you to peruse, but as of November 15, we will no longer be allowing new posts or comments. Be sure to join our new group at https://www.salesforce.com/success-datorama to keep the conversation going.
We can’t wait to see you there!

Admin Advanced - Media Transparency Center to track campaign

Hi guys, How are you?
Does anyone know how to solve the Task 3.Utilize the Media Transparency Center to track campaign pacing?
(4. Unfortunately, your client’s planned data does not contain Media Buy Keys and this is the level at which the data sets are generally linked. Therefore, the client needs you to retrieve the Media Buy Keys from DFA and Facebook Ads by using a mapping formula in this data stream in order to complete the client’s request. The above should be completed in the Media Buy Key dimension.)
Thank you!

I am afraid that the Exam is supposed to be done individually and not to be discussed in the Community. Otherwise, we lose the integrity and validity of the Certificate.
Kind regards,
Aleks
This is a program that you want us to use right?
The main issue I have had is that the notes are out of date (UI / UX has changed in Datorama) or that the examples given are not sufficient.
A lot of the tools have clearly been written by someone who assumes knowledge.
This makes no sense.
Particularly as the way that Datorama uses elements of SQL is not at all consistent with typical SQL in the formula mapping.
Overall I like what Datorma achieves as a product, but you really need to spend more money on updating the training manuals / provide clear, more detailed examples.
I'm facing the same problem. I've tried to map media buy key within the buy data data stream or mapping the media buy key as an attribute;
Retrieving all the patterns from both facebook_ads and DFA data streams;
But i'm not being able to relate the IO Key with the media buy key from the DFA data stream.
Have you solved the exercise?
Thanks in advance
Kind regards
In a previous exercise we were requested to REPLACE the Media Buy Name to have '_' instead of '-'.
This is generating different Dimension values for the Media Buy Names for the different Data Streams.
Even if I adjust them to all be '_' or all of them be '-' I still get a validation error.
My formula currently looks something like this:
VLOOKUP_UNNEST(csv['Media Buy Name'],[Media_Buy_Name],[Media_Buy_Key],false,{'DFA Data','FB Ads2020-2021' })
I also tried with the whole workspace and Data Streams being taken:
VLOOKUP_UNNEST(csv['Media Buy Name'],[Media_Buy_Name],[Media_Buy_Key],true,true)
Have you guys find a solution to it?
Kind regards,
Ramiro
I am also stuck at the same point. Support here would be highly appreciable.
Thanks and regards
