Join our Community in its new Home - The Datorama Trailblazer Community Group!
It's been an amazing 3 years coming together in this forum to collaborate, innovate, support, and inspire each other about our shared usage of Datorama. While this is not quite a goodbye, we are excited to announce that we are getting a fresh start in our new home within the Salesforce Trailblazer Community. We have a ton of fun new content planned and you may even see the revival of some of our most popular posts from the past few years.
We’ll be keeping this group around for a bit for you to peruse, but as of November 15, we will no longer be allowing new posts or comments. Be sure to join our new group at https://www.salesforce.com/success-datorama to keep the conversation going.
We can’t wait to see you there!

Facebook API - Custom Conversion Tracking

in Help Center
Hi all,
Currently match custom conversion events to Campaigns based on name match...with the iOS14 changes, we are no longer creating these conversion events ourselves but the client is sharing one between agencies/publishers.
This change has meant that the 'conversion tag name' now pulls through as '0 Conversion Pixel (Deprecated)' instead of a unique name.
Does anyone have experience on how the are matching conversion events?
Alternatively if you are pulling FB data into Datorama using Total Connect? Are you using any tools to datadump FB data before ingesting?
Thanks!

Thank you for sharing your case. However, it would be best and most efficient if our support team looks at it in detail. Please log a ticket at [email protected] or directly through the platform and they will be glad to help.
But I did notice that FB continuously changed the [conversion tag key] and [conversion tag name] and it causes a lot of trouble here. I don't know if there is a better way to stay informed and get things adjusted on our side promptly.
Really a bummer
